Gavin Gaitan’s new film, Down Town, features a scene with LA Rope’s shibari. “Down Town” is an action comedy that follows the stories of T-Mo – the hustler, Hunny – the prostitute, and Jerry – the junkie, over the course of 24 hours in the criminal underbelly of Downtown Los Angeles.

Our scene was a full suspension, shot at a local LA warehouse with Jerry (Seth Acquire) being bound, gagged, and interrogated.

It was a long shoot and we brought in support to give the actor a break between takes. He did a great job in rope, managing to endure the tie while also putting in a full performance.

Our scene even made it into the trailer.
