DESCRIPTION:Following CDC guidelines\, all attendees will be required to show proof being at least 2 week past their final vaccination date. \nRope Play or Nawa Asobi is held each Tuesday of the month from 8 to 10 at the LA Rope Dojo. This class is our introductory class which covers background and history\, rope information\, and two basic ties. \nThis class focuses on the fundamentals and is perfect for the beginner. The previous intro class is recommended by not required. \nBeginners always welcome. We have rope to loan for class as well as for purchase. It is recommended you come with a partner. Individuals are welcome but we can not guarantee a tying partner will be available. \nCost: $25 per person\, in advance. No tickets at the door. If you are buying as a couple\, please order together as this event always sells out and we cannot admit over our capacity once class is full. \nTickets are for this event only and cannot be refunded once purchased.\n\nProof of vaccination is required.

SUMMARY:Yukimura Ryu Study Group
DESCRIPTION:The Yukimura Ryu Study Group meets once a month (fourth Tuesday of the month) to the explore the philosophy\, technique\, and practice of erotic rope bondage in the style of Yukimura Haruki. \nFor more information about what that entails\, please read What Is Yukimura Style Shibari? \nThe class is structured in two parts:  The first hour is a discussion\, viewing and demonstration of an aspect of Yukimura style shibari\, with a brief Q&A session.  We will focus on unique aspects of Yukimura Ryuu\, with a particular emphasis on communication and eroticism. \nThe second hour is “hands on” and will provide time for students in the group to practice Yukimura style rope bondage\, explore topics from the earlier discussion\, and engage in “rope games” of their own. \nStudents of all levels are welcome (beginner to advance).  The discussion of Yukimura’s style will be on going and will allow students at any level to join at any time.  Classes will not repeat and there is no standard “curriculum” that will be followed. \nNo is experience required\, though having taken any of the beginner level classes will make for a richer experience. \nYou can read more about LA Rope’s Rope Philosophy and the course instructor\, Zetsu.
