DESCRIPTION:Following CDC guidelines\, all attendees will be required to show proof being at least 2 week past their final vaccination date. \nRope Play or Nawa Asobi is held each Tuesday of the month from 8 to 10 at the LA Rope Dojo. This class is our introductory class which covers background and history\, rope information\, and two basic ties. \nThis class focuses on the fundamentals and is perfect for the beginner. The previous intro class is recommended by not required. \nBeginners always welcome. We have rope to loan for class as well as for purchase. It is recommended you come with a partner. Individuals are welcome but we can not guarantee a tying partner will be available. \nCost: $25 per person\, in advance. No tickets at the door. If you are buying as a couple\, please order together as this event always sells out and we cannot admit over our capacity once class is full. \nTickets are for this event only and cannot be refunded once purchased.\n\nProof of vaccination is required.

SUMMARY:Intermediate Class: Kata Ashi Zuri (Single Leg Partial Suspension)
DESCRIPTION:PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED \nKata Ashi Zuri\, or the single leg partial suspension\, is a tie that has many and varied functions. From shame to torment\, this tie and the various positions associated with it can create complex sensations and emotions and is one of the most versatile ties among the partial suspensions. Because it is a partial suspension\, it maintains a safety factor greater than most full suspensions (thought it does have risks associated with it). \nThe kata ashi or single leg partial suspension is one of the most beautiful kinbaku ties. In Yukimura ryuu\, it forms a core element of a progression that moves from sitting to kneeling to standing and provides a very beautiful and graceful series of transitions between poses. Unlike many versions of this tie\, the Yukimura version focuses on more complex positioning and body movements to create a strong psychological effect. \nWe will work on each of these poses as well as the transitions between them utilizing Yukimura ryuu two rope gotes. We will also explore the power of posing\, observation and distance in constructing our rope scenes. \nTickets are sold as couples tickets\, meaning a tying partner is required. \nStudents should have either taken Beginners I (hands in front) or II (hands behind) or have experience tying a basic gote (hands behind the back tie). \nOnce purchased\, tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE \nPROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED
